Rehearsals

Rehearsals are held on Monday evenings from 8:00pm and last for two hours, with a short interval for announcements and a "chat" with friends.  The Choir rehearses at Buxton Road United Reform Church - at the junction of the A6 (Buxton Road) with Lake Street. . . . Location Map

During rehearsals, we practice to maintain the quality of the established music repertoire and, over several weeks, learn new pieces of music to add to our programme.  Typically, we would expect to introduce one new piece of music each month.

A Special Invitation

Are you interested in singing with the Choir?  Then why not come to one of our rehearsals?

• Completely informal, with no obligation - take part in as much or as little as you wish;
• Join in or just watch and listen, ask questions, check us out!
• Ring up or just turn up, stay as long as you like;
• You do not need to be a trained singer and an ability to read music is not essential.
• All you need is to enjoy making music and friendly company;
• Come any Monday!
• Know someone - a relative or friend - who might be interested?  Send them along - they'll thank you!
• Love music but not sure about your voice? - We'll help you to find where you can sing best - a choir is the sum of many parts!
